Western Sydney sun is hard on paint. Rear elevations, western walls and two-storey gables chalk and fade early if the system is cheap or the prep is skipped. We specify premium exterior lines — typically Dulux Weathershield or equivalent — over a proper primer, on brick, render, weatherboard and timber trim.
